Desmond Cain is joining the North Dakota State Bison. The star wide receiver has committed to North Dakota State tonight we are learning.
Cain dominated at Illinois his Freshman year and flashed quite a bit. Now Cain will join the best team in FCS football.

- 5 receptions for 61 yards and one touchdown
- Two receptions for 37 yards and his second career touchdown in the opener vs. Murray State

- Played in all 12 games, including five starts at wide receiver
- Ranked in the top 100 in FBS and 11th in Big Ten in receptions per game (4.4)
- Second on the team with 53 receptions
- Third on the team with 492 receiving yards (41.0 per game)
- At least one reception in all 12 games
- Career-high 10 receptions and 102 receiving yards against No. 3 Ohio State
- Six receptions, 74 yards and a touchdown at Purdue
