Zach Conque

What is your Height/Weight?

6’5 ½ 238

Quarterback- Possible Tight End

Where do you play college football?

Stephen F. Austin

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I went to local elementary schools and read to the kids every week during the season.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Organizational Communication

Where are you from?

Little Rock, Arkansas

Who is your role model, and why?

My two brothers. They showed me that no matter the circumstances you can always achieve your dream as long as you keep working.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Did you play any other positions in football?

At your position, what separates you from others?

My size, my ability to make all the throws, my athleticism, and my knowledge of the game.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

My footwork. It all starts and ends there.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Ryan Mueller, DE from Kansas State

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

A mixture of Cam Newton and Andrew Luck. At the end of the day, these guys get it done. They are both extremely competitive and athletic enough to make plays when the time is needed.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My senior year I encountered a slump for about two weeks. During this time I learned that I couldn’t do it all and that I just needed to sit back there and spin it. So after the slump I ended the last four games with nearly 1,500 yards of total offense along with 13 touchdowns.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I do not.

What is your biggest strength?

My size, speed, and toughness are big strengths but the thing I bring to the table is my knowledge and experience. I have played in several offenses that have put me under center 80-85 percent of the time and to also playing in the gun. On top of that my father has been a college coach for all my life so I feel like it gives me an advantage and will help me transition to the next level.

What is your biggest weakness?

My feet can sometimes get me in trouble when it comes to making throws.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Along with having the prototypical size and arm strength I believe teams should draft me because I am going to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I will work day in and day out to put my team in the best position to win.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Brady Quinn

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Jesus, John F. Kennedy, and Julius Caesar

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Fishing Boat
