University of Washington sack master hangs up his cleats to pursue career in Rugby
Washington linebacker and leading pass rusher Psalm Wooching has decided to hang up cleats to pursue a career in Rugby.
The Washington Huskies linebacker will forgo a chance to pursue an NFL career so he can focus on playing rugby and eventually try out for the 2020 Olympics.
“My first love and and sport that I excelled in was rugby and it is time for me to follow my heart,” Wooching posted on Twitter.

“My goal to be able to represent my country and while playing rugby and then on to playing in the next Olympics,” Wooching wrote. “This has been a dream of mine for quite some time and I will do anything to accomplish it.”
