What is your position? 

Quarterback

Where do you play college football? 

Baylor University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

During the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to take a mission trip to Brazil with the Baylor FCA program, where we were able to spread the Gospel to children of all ages while reaching out to underprivileged and impacting their lives in a positive way.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Psychology

Where are you from? 

Originally Midlothian, Texas but when to High school in Garland, TX

Who is your role model, and why? 

My parents are because they have shown me that life is about sacrifices and putting others first before myself. Even though those sacrifices are tough but if I put my faith in Christ, He will provide.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

 I played baseball, basketball and ran track

Did you play any other positions in football? 

No

At your position, what separates you from others? 

I hate to lose and I will do anything I need to do to win, while also being intelligent in my decision-making.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for the weaknesses in the defense while also trying to find keys that give away their positions. I look at down and distance and what the team likes to do on specific formations.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Malik Jefferson

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Aaron Rodgers because of my ability to stand in the pocket and deliver strikes while also have the capability to move outside of the pocket to keep plays alive and moving the chains.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

The biggest obstacle I have had to face in my life would be my last year at Baylor and having to deal with our head coach getting fired, while facing a sexual assault scandal that all but completely tore our program apart. The way I over came it was by continuing to put my faith in Christ and staying positive through it all.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

All I do is act myself

What is your biggest strength? 

My faith

What is your biggest weakness? 

Not yet able to grow a full beard

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I am a winner.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Dallas Cowboys

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Jesus Christ, Paul Walker, Elvis

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Well I will be married by that time so that is a decision my wife will make (with my input, maybe).
