Miami Dolphins are cutting DT Earl Mitchell as well
The Miami Dolphins are making power moves today. They have already cut starting offensive tackle Branden Albert, and now they are moving to the defensive line.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins are also releasing DT Earl Mitchell on Thursday. Mitchell, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2010.
He finished last year with 33 tackles and 2 sacks. He was not the best defensive tackle around but he was a serviceable guy.
