Strengths: Keionta Davis is a very explosive defensive end. He can play on both sides of the defensive line. Whether it be weak side defensive end or strong side defensive end. He has a nice pass rush along with a great get off. He has a motor that his driven by desire and wanting to make every play. He can stand stout in goal line situations. Watch the Alabama film he gave Cam Robinson issues all day. He has brute strength being able to bull rush and bench press tackles into the backfield.
Weakness: Because he is from a small school he already has that stigma of “not being able to handle NFL competition”. He does need to be able to get limbo his way through double teams. He needs to work on his fighting off one on one blocks even if its away from the play. He needs to increase his pass rush arsenal once he gets in the league. Veterans Offensive lineman will have a field day if he continues ti use just a rush and rip. Or even bull rush
Overview: Keionta is a very smart kid. He made the deans list all 4 years at Chattanooga. I believe if he has great combine showing. Benching 225 25 times and runs a good 40 I project him to run in the 4.7-4.8 range. If he does this with a follow up at the pro day and be consistent he can sneak in early of the 3rd round. However I do see him going in the 4th-5th round.
