Last night Fox Sports made some bank. Thanks to the comeback of the Patriots, Fox Sports reeled in 20 million more additional dollars, according to Adweek.
According to Adweek, the additional advertising time available meant that FOX cleared $20 million more in revenue before the night was out.
Super Bowl 51 drew a 48.8 overnight rating, which is lower than the last two games, according to CNBC.com. Super Bowl 50, where the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers, had a 49.0 rating.
