Pep Hamilton leaves the Browns to join Jim Harbaugh in Michigan
Let’s face it, the Cleveland Browns are not a good team, but maybe Pep Hamilton is not a good coach? Today, the former Stanford coach accepted an offer to join Jim Harbaugh at Michigan. This is strange considering it is a demotion in the coaching community.
Jed Fisch created a hole as the receivers and quarterbacks coach when he left to become UCLA’s offensive coordinator last week. Hamilton has coached both positions in the past, including both for Harbaugh at Stanford from 2010-12.
Former Browns Asst HC Pep Hamilton had accepted an offer to become Michigan’s Asst HC/passing coordinator, per school source.
