  • Adam Caplan reports that the Bills are planning to hire East Carolina WRs coach Phil McGeoghan as their new WRs coach.

Texans

  • The Houston Texans announced that they’ve officially hired Wes Welker as an offensive assistant/special teams assistant.

Colts

  • Colts have hired Chris Ballard as their new General Manager.

Saints

  • Nick Underhill of the Advocate reports that the Saints are bringing back Curtis Johnson as their WRs coach, replacing John Morton.
  • Saints announce they have hired Bradford Banta as their special teams coordinator. Previously served as #Redskins assistant ST coach.

49ers

  • Alex Marvez of assistant special teams coach Richard Hightower is likely to become the 49ers new special teams coordinator under Shanahan.
  • Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that 49ers new GM John Lynch is hiring Broncos executive Adam Peters as the team’s new VP of player personnel.
  • Alex Marvez reports that Falcons assistant coaches Mike McDaniel and Mike LaFleur are “strong candidates” to join Kyle Shanahan’s staff with the 49ers.
  • According to Marvez, the 49ers are expected to retain DBs coach Jeff Hafley and LBs coach Jason Tarver.
