Breaking Down Prospects: Cam Robinson, OL, Alabama
Cam Robinson of Alabama is considered one of the best offensive lineman in the entire 2017 NFL Draft. Today our scout Mark Thomas broke down some film of Robinson and came up with Strengths and weaknesses of the best overall O-Lineman in the draft.
After watching Cam Robinson this is my analysis:
- Strengths: he is very mobile. He has the athleticism to get to the second level and get linebackers. He can block on screens. Which is good for the NFL. Good pass blocking footwork. Has an aggressive get off. He has improved over the last year.
- Weaknesses: HE STRUGGLES WITH SPEED RUSHERS. He over extends at time to pick them at the line scrimmage instead of getting back in the pass set. With bull rushers he pass sets but can not stand stand ground. Lower body strength my be an issue. Doesn’t lock on to the linebackers at the 2nd level has tendencies to push on them.
