If Kirk Cousins stays the course he will throw for 5000 yards joining an elite crew

Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins of the Redskins has been playing lights out.

Only five quarterbacks in NFL history have thrown for more than 5000 yards in a season, and Kirk Cousins is on pace to hit that mark.

Kirk Cousins is playing right now on a pretty amazing level. He is averaging 295 yards per game and if he keeps it up he will end the season with 5015 yards.  Which would put him on a list with some pretty elite quarterbacks.

Right now, Cousins has thrown for 3,540 yards after 12 games. That is pretty insane. I believe the Redskins may have to Franchise Tag him again. If not they are going to have to pay him a TON of money. If I was Jay Gruden and the Skins, I would tag him.  You cannot lose, because if he turns back to his old way of throwing picks and making bad decisions, you can always walk.
