Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I got to meet this amazing 6 year old little girl named Brielle who is UMHB football team number one fan. I got to visit her at the hospital , and got to meet her parents . She had an amazing personality, and changed my life.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

I think the hardest college class I took was a fine arts class called music appreciation. I had to listen to all these old time musicians and remember all this stuff that was irrelevant to my major .

Where are you from?

I am From Dobie Highschool in Houston, Texas

Who is your role model, and why?

I’d say my role model would have to be Russell Wilson , because of how he has worked hard to get to where he is today. He also is a great leader , and man of god.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played basketball , baseball , track , tennis and soccer .

Did you play any other positions in football?

I’ve always played QB . But I’m athletic and smart enough to play WR and RB .

At your position, what separates you from others?

I feel like my ability to create plays and be successful at putting my team in the best situation to win is something not many can do .

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look at the defense front and the box first for any possible run checks . Then I check the coverage of the defense , by evaluating the depth and actions of the corners and Safety’s pre-snap and post snap.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I’d have to say Russell Wilson , because his size and his ability extend plays when stuff breaks down

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I listen to Dreams and nightmares before every game . When I get on the field I go to the end zone and pray every single game.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

I feel like I have to do things that will get me noticed more than a Big school athlete . I feel like I have to work harder and make sure to show my ability every game .

What is your biggest strength?

I say my biggest strength is the ability to lead my team to victory.

What is your biggest weakness?

I think my biggest weakness is knowing when to be competitive and when not to.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would  say that I am someone who is always going to work hard no matter what. I will not take a play off and I will continue to eat everyday until I reach the goal that I have set for myself.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player was Mike Vick . That man changed the game completely . Since the beginning of my football career I’ve been number 7 90% of those years. He was able to do something with his legs that no one before him could do . At the same time he had an amazing arm and quick release . I studied him when I was little and still do .

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

I’d have to say Jesus , ALI , and Kendrick Lamar.

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

I would buy my Dad a new business truck , and home . And I would buy my mom a new car and house .
