NFL Draft Diamonds has been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 3 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. What is your name?

My name is Kevin Goic

What is your Height/Weight?

 I am 6ft 195 pounds.

What is your position?

I play Safety and outside line backer

Where do you play college football?

Graceland University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Coolest thing I’ve done off the field is helping with the Special Olympics and watching those guys have a chance to compete while I cheer them on and motivate them.  It’s a great experience all around for us and the athletes

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest college class I’ve taken is statistics my freshmen year. I was new to college and didn’t realize how much time it would take to learn.

Where are you from?

I’m from Orlando Florida

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model was always my cousin. He trains so hard and had so many obstacles yet he always fought through and gave it his all to get to where he is today

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up I was in Taekwondo, ran track, and played soccer.

Did you play any other positions in football?

In high school I also played outside Receiver and slot. Some tight end, I long snapped some and held.

At your position, what separates you from others?

What separates me at outside backer I believe is my speed and being able to run with backs out the back field as well. At Safety I have a mentality like I’m the quarter back of the defense. I like studying the game and making all the checks on the field. I want to say I have a good football IQ.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When breaking down film I look for tendencies in the opposite 11. Try and see if I can pick anything up on them giving stuff away.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Playing 8a in Florida I had tough competition every week but one that I loved was going against Jacques Patrick in the playoffs because I still want some pay back for him knocking us out the first round

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I compare myself to Kenny Vaccaro. I like his intelligence of the game, he can come down hill and make a play but he can cover some of the best as well. I think with an NFL training program my body could be similar to his too.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

My pre game ritual is I pray with my DB’s before every game after warmups. That’s very important too me

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Playing at a small school the hardest thing was distractions. It’s easy to forget your here for football as some people don’t take the game serious, but I had to separate myself and follow coaches workouts and make sure I was always in shape.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is my versatility. I’ve played free, strong, OLB, and nickel.

What is your biggest weakness?

My weakness honestly is I need to work on my hips and feet to be able to run with next level competition

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’d tell a GM to take me and make me his project because I’m gonna do everything I can to make plays and help the team win on Sunday’s

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player growing up was Ed Reed. He was just a nasty Safety who could find the ball

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

I’d have dinner with my Dad, Ray Lewis, and my Grandpa

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

With my first pay check I’d buy a house for me and my Mom
