Where do you play college football?

University of Northern Iowa

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

I love coaching. I coach football and baseball during my time off in the summers.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take? 

Biomechanics or Biology/Chemistry labs

Where are you from? 

Tripoli, IA

Who is your role model, and why? 

My older brother. I followed him everywhere when I was growing up and I wanted to be just like him. It led me to be who I am now.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

I played baseball, basketball, and was a thrower in Track/Field.

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I’ve played FB, DL, and LB before.

At your position, what separates you from others? 

I pride myself on my relentless pursuit/motor.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for? 

I look for tendencies of the OL.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Brandon Scherff, Joe Haeg, Carson Wentz, etc.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

I think I would say Chris Long. I love the way he plays and also love to resemble JJ Watt.

kschultDo you have any pre-game rituals? 

During Pre-game, I just like to sit out by the field and take a some time to think about how fortunate I am to be in my situation.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome? 

At a small school, everyone will always talk about competition level.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I promise you’d get 100% of me in anything that I do. I’m loyal, trustworthy, and you wouldn’t regret taking me.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

I love the Packers and my favorite player ever is Brett Favre. I love the way he played the game.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

I’d choose: George Washington, Albert Einstein, and Martin Luther King Jr.

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy? 

I’d save that paycheck.
