The San Diego Chargers have had the most injuries of any team so far in the NFL and they could be down another starter.

According to Rand Getlin of NFL Media Insiders, cornerback Jason Verrett may have torn a ligament in his knee.  He will now undergo tests to see the extent of the injury.

I’m told #Chargers CB Jason Verrett fears he may have torn a ligament in his knee. Will undergo tests to confirm the nature of the injury.
Verrett was drafted by the Chargers in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at TCU. By the end of last season, Verrett totaled 3 interceptions, 12 passes defended, and 1 interception returned for a touchdown. After having a great season, Jason Verrett was chosen for the Pro Bowl in place of Darrelle Revis. This injury will hurt the Chargers pretty bad.
