Brandon Marshall says the Jets should expect to be killed in the streets because of their play

Jets give Brandon Marshall some more money

Brandon Marshall feels the Jets players have to expect to get killed by the media

Brandon Marshall might be the funniest player in the NFL.  He always has something to say, but the Jets have been playing bad football.  So bad that Marshall does not feel they should be walking the streets. He was asked what the fans and the media should think and feel about their play.

“We expect to be killed out in the streets and killed in the media, because our record shows that we’re not a really good team.”

Marshall went on trying to stay positive though:

“But we have to stick together. We know who we have in that locker room. You guys [reporters] know who we have in that locker room. I think this [1-4 start] is surprising not only to our organization, but this is surprising to you guys and our fans.

“But with that comes criticism. This game isn’t for the wary. This game isn’t for the sensitive. What’s funny about failure is that failure speeds up the growth process. So that’s what I’m excited about. We’ve had a lot of failure these first five games. We’re growing rapidly, because we have no choice. That’s the awesome thing about failure.”
