Where do you play college football?

Central Connecticut State University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

The coolest thing I’ve done was volunteer to teach a class of underprivileged youth S.T.E.M courses (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) for Access Educational Inc.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Either Biochemistry or Calc 1, inorganic chem was hard too.

Where are you from?

Bridgeport CT

Who is your role model, and why?

My grandfather, He’s paved the way for me and showed me the value of a man who takes care of their family.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Played Basketball for Stratford high school, won a state championship 27-0!!

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played wide receiver and tight end in high school .

At your position, what separates you from others?

My ability to pressure the quarterback and my run stopping ability.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Where the OL’s head is pointing at any given play, whether they like to vertical set or kick at a 45, and how they shoot their hands.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Mitchell Kirsch from JMU

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Vic Beasley, he’s the player I aspire to be.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I just pray, I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to play and ask that He protect me from injury.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Being overlooked by the players at big time schools. Have to show that I can play with anybody.

Quickness and ability to get off blocks

What is your biggest weakness?

Being undersized

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Football is 20% physical and 80% mental, I’m equipped with the mental fortitude that it takes to be successful

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player was Demarcus Ware and I am still a Cowboys fan. I was so hurt when he left.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My late uncle Tom, Michael Jackson, and Malcolm X

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

I’d put a down payment on a house for my mother.
