Draft Diamonds Picks and Predictions

Carolina Panthers (-3) at Denver Broncos

The Super Bowl will be replayed tonight and I think that the Carolina Panthers will come out pissed. They will get Kelvin Benjamin back, and that is going to be the difference maker.  The Panthers beat the Broncos by double digits, but Trevor Siemian has himself a decent performance.  28-17

Cleveland Browns at Philadelphia Eagles (-4)

The Cleveland Browns have a good team, but they will struggle to get passed the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Browns made the statement earlier this week about Carson Wentz, and I think the rookie from North Dakota State has himself a day.  I have Wentz throwing for over 300 and beating the Browns by a little less than a touchdown. 27-21

Minnesota Vikings at Tennessee Titans (+2)

Vikings are banged up without Teddy Bridgewater and I think they were willing to do anything to find themselves a suitable back-up. The problem is they still do not have one.  The Titans on the other hand are in year two of Mariota Football and I think they pull off the win.  Titans win 17-14

Green Bay Packers at Jacksonville Jaguars (+4.5)

Jaguars are hungry, and they come out swinging.  Jaguars QB Blake Bortles throws for over 350 yards and really beats up on the Packers secondary.  The Packers are able to get the ground game going early to stabilize the game. Packers pull out a nail biter 38-35

Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts (-3)

Lions and Colts will be a good game, the Lions will be without star wide out Calvin Johnson for the first time in Matthew Stafford’s career. I do not think they will be able to rebound without him.  I am taking the Colts 20-10.

+Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3) at Atlanta Falcons

I don’t know why but I am taking Jameis Winston.  I think this is his year, and with the Falcons losing Roddy White, I feel they are predictable on offense. I maybe wrong, but I like the Buccaneers winning 27-23.

Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5) at New York Jets

Bengals are a tough team and although I like them, I think Ryan Fitzmagic has a field day.  The Jets win and they make it look easy.  42-20 Jets

Oakland Raiders (+1) at New Orleans Saints

Drew Brees was just given a nice little contract but the man that is across from him is working on becoming the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Khalil Mack finishes the game with 4 sacks and the Raiders win in a slugout 19-14.

San Diego Chargers (+7) at Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers will be a good fight. I think the Chargers will have a good ground game this week, but the Chiefs have a better all around team.  Chiefs win 15-13

Buffalo Bills (+3) at Baltimore Ravens

Buffalo Bills and Tyrod Taylor head to Baltimore and really terrorize their team. Tyrod Taylor and Ed Reed get a win back at the team where they once played.  Taylor has 240 yards through the air and 3 touchdowns.  LeSean McCoy has 2 touchdowns one rushing and one receiving. Bills 34-Ravens 20

Chicago Bears (+6) at Houston Texans

This game is not very interesting at all. Brock Osweiler throws several interceptions and the Texans defense shuts down Jay Cutler. Texans win in a very defensive battle. Texans win 13-10

Miami Dolphins (+10.5) at Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks make a statement and before the game begins the entire team kneels on 9/11.  Seahawks however were more worried about their pre-game antics than their game with the Dolphins. Dolphins come out on all cylinders and win. 27-20.

New York Giants (PK) at Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys will not have Tony Romo, but don’t panic.  They are fine, because Dak Prescott takes the team on his back.  Prescott leads a fourth quarter drive and wins the game with a Dan Bailey Field Goal. Dallas 20 Giants 19.

New England Patriots (+6) at Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals apply too much pressure on Jimmy G.  This is not fair. Cardinals put up 40 on the Patriots.  Cardinals win 45-17 over the Ninkovich-less Patriots

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) at Washington Redskins

Big Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers beat Josh Norman and the Redskins. Antonio Brown is able to bring down 8 receptions  but only gains 58 yards.  The Redskins contain Brown, but are ate up by DeAngelo Williams. Steelers win 23-17.

Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) at San Francisco 49ers

This game is going to be a good battle and after Blaine Gabbert is injured Colin Kaepernick enters the game. I don’t know why I feel this way but Kaepernick is starting to fuel off of the fire he is taking. Kaepernick leads the Chip Kelly offense and brings the Niners back for the win. 21-20 Niners win.
