Carson Wentz has won NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles routed the Steelers in a 34-3 victory in Week Three to move the Eagles to 3-0 as they head into their bye week. Wentz was 23-of-31 for 301 yards and two touchdowns in the win and ran his streak of throws without an interception to start a career to 102 before the day was over.

The former North Dakota State superstar was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week today and it was greatly deserved. Others that won awards this week were:

  • AFC Offensive Player of the Week: Trevor Siemian, Broncos
  • AFC Defensive Player of the Week: Marcus Peters, Chiefs
  • AFC Special Teams Player of the Week: Ryan Allen, Patriots
  • NFC Offensive Player of the Week: Carson Wentz, Eagles
  • NFC Defensive Player of the Week: Everson Griffen, Vikings
  • NFC Special Teams Player of the Week: Dustin Hopkins, Redskins
