Brandon Marshall of the Denver Broncos explains why he did not stand for the National Anthem.
Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall wanted to take a stand against social injustice just like Colin Kaepernick, and last night on Thursday Night Football he made his stance.
Marshall was the only player on the entire football field not to stand for the National Anthem. After the game he explained why he did what he did.
“I’m not against the military,” Marshall said. “I’m not against the police or America. I’m against social injustice.”
