The San Francisco 49ers announced that WR Eric Rogers sustained a torn ACL during Friday’s practice and will subsequently will miss the entire 2016 season.

The 49ers will likely place him on the injured reserve list in the coming days, and they will likely be looking for another wide out soon.

The 49ers signed him by guaranteeing him $225,000, the biggest guarantee for a CFL player since the Dolphins gave Cameron Wake a $1 million signing bonus in 2008.
