The Denver Broncos announced Thursday that they’ve placed WR Marlon Brown on waivers and signed rookie OL Sam Carlson to a contract.

Carlson, a rookie, was previously signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2016 before being waived on July 29. He started for CSU in 2014 and 2015, helping power an offense that averaged 417 yards per game in his senior season and 481 yards per game in his junior year. Carlson is a Wellington, Colorado, native.

Brown, in his fourth NFL season, spent his previous three years with the Ravens, where Head Coach Gary Kubiak served as Baltimore’s offensive coordinator in 2014.
