Bears sign former Steelers draft pick Mike Adams
The Chicago Bears’ search for a swing tackle prompted them to make a roster move Wednesday. They signed Mike Adams, a former second-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and waived Nick Becton.
Adams sat out all of last season with a back injury and was released by the Steelers in May with a failed physical designation. The team’s second-round pick in 2012 has started 20 games in the NFL.
