Seahawks are just one team that could show interest in veteran Nick Foles

You will want to pick up Nick Foles, because I feel he will have a huge season in St. Louis.
Would you want Nick Foles?

Yesterday, Nick Foles was cut lose and while he looks to find a home, the former Eagles draft pick could have a few suitors out there that could use him.  The Seahawks are one team that comes to mind, after looking at their roster.  With Tarvaris Jackson getting arrested the other day for pulling a gun on his wife, I highly doubt the Seahawks will give him another chance.  Trevone Boykin is on the roster and the Seahawks are impressed with him.  The only problem is if a veteran comes along their GM will take a look at him, according to what he said yesterday.

“Yep, absolutely. And we do that with every position. We’ll have one, two, three guys like on standby,” Schneider said.

“I like all our players, I’m just never really one of those guys that’s like, ‘Yeah, we got this. We got this.’ You know what I mean?” he added. “Pete’s job is to instill confidence in people and he does a great job; it’s one of his best attributes, making everybody feel great about themselves and instilling confidence in their abilities. My job is to be forward thinking and our staff – Dan (Morgan), Trent (Kirchner), Scott (Fitterer) – to be ready for what’s coming next if it doesn’t work out.”

It makes you wonder if the Seahawks will be in on the Nick Foles race.  Other teams to keep an eye on are the Vikings, 49ers, Chiefs and the Cowboys.
