Many believe RG3 will be the starter in Cleveland, but there are mixed reviews on his play. In her analysis of the competition, Mary Kay Cabot said that “at times, Josh McCown looked more ready in spring practices than Griffin to start and win a game.”
Well Hue Jackson would like to have his starting quarterback set in stone before the pre-season begins. I like this method because the quarterbacks will then know what they have to do to prepare for the regular season.
Another player in the mix is Cody Kessler, but I cannot see Hue Jackson starting Kessler week 1. It will be interesting to see, but if I was a betting man, I would say RG3 is first in line.
