Lions coaches feel Ziggy Ansah’s can rack up 20 sacks this year
Ziggy Ansah was drafted by the Detroit Lions with the fifth overall pick in 2013, and he has been pretty solid since entering the NFL. His coaches have high expectations for him this season.
“If you ask (defensive line coach) Kris (Kocurek), it’s 20 sacks,” Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin told MLive.com.
The franchise record for a season is 15 by Robert Porcher in 1999. The 20-sack barrier has only been broken 11 times since 1982.
