#Steelers pass rusher Jarvis Jones is motivated that his team did not pick up his option

The Steelers have yet to make a decision on Jarvis Jones
The Steelers upset Jarvis Jones and now he is hoping to cause problems on the field

Jarvis Jones has not been the most impressive player for the Pittsburgh Steelers since entering the NFL. Let’s be honest, he has been pretty pathetic.  Well Jones is kind of upset still because the Steelers did not pick up his fifth year.  Jones was asked by the media how he took it and he said he is fired up.

“It’s motivation for me,” Jones said via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “I’m just going to continue to work hard and get ready for the season.”

“Hopefully, I’m here [beyond 2016]. I love this place, I love everything about it. I’m just going to work hard and do what I have to do so I can stay around here.”

If Jones can some how become the disruptive player he once was in college, I am sure the Steelers would pay him.  I just think Jones needed a kick in the butt. Hopefully this move woke him up, because he was headed down the path which eventually leads to a very early retirement.
