#Chargers RB Melvin Gordon underwent a micofracture surgery in January
The San Diego Chargers were hoping to get more than what they did out of Melvin Gordon. Well according to San Diego Tribune, the Chargers running back participated in on-field drills Monday after undergoing a microfracture surgery in January.
“I’m getting better. I’m getting better,” Gordon said. “I’m not where I want to be, but I think I’m ahead of schedule. I’m sprinting pretty well. I’m cutting. … No question, I’ll be ready for training camp. I’m not even worried about that.”
Gordon suffered a small tear in his left knee against the Dolphins last year. He missed the remainder of the season and everyone knew he needed surgery on January 5th, but they were not sure what it was for.
