Chargers called Mike Scifries during the draft to cut him; Then drafted his replacement
Chargers were not playing around. According to a report by Michael Gehlken the Chargers released 13 year veteran Mike Scifries during the draft.
Then they called punter Texas A&M punter Drew Kaser and told him he was being drafted.
Pretty shady business folks. The team went younger and cheaper…..
