Top 10 players at each offensive position who are projected to be Undrafted Free Agents in the NFL Draft

Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams is legit, just believe in him regardless of his height
Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams is legit, just believe in him regardless of his height
We thought we would make a list of who we feel will be the top undrafted free agents for NFL teams to check out.  We have never attempted this so if you are on this list it does not mean that you are not good enough to be drafted. We are basically putting together a list of 10 players at each position of players we really like that we would love to see NFL teams give them a shot as an undrafted free agent/mini camp guy.  NFL teams ask me all the time for the 10 best players at each position, and I thought I would spruce it up a little bit. I wanted to make a list of players that I think would be a great asset to a team. Some of these players may have a 7th round grade, but we are going to make a list of the best of the rest.

Quarterbacks

Vernon Adams – Oregon – He better be drafted but if he is not he is the best quarterback that could end up being like Tony Romo and starting long term.

The best of the rest:

  • Matt Johnson – Bowling Green
  • Blake Frohnaptel – UMass
  • Vad Lee – James Madison
  • John Gibbs – Alcorn State
  • Liam Nadler – Gannon
  • Matt Soltes – East Stroudsburg
  • Ammon Olsen – Southern Utah
  • Kyle Washington – Angelo State
  • John Robertson – Villanova
  • Everett Golson – Notre Dame
  • Treyvone Boykin – TCU

Running Backs

Jhurell Pressley of New Mexico needs to be drafted in the late rounds, but if he is not he would be our best running back not drafted.

  • Brandon Ross – Maryland
  • Dyshawn Mobley – Eastern Kentucky
  • Peyton Barber – Auburn
  • Khairi Dickson – St. Francis
  • Cameron McDondle – CSU – Pueblo
  • Kenneth Farrow – Houston
  • Rahman Lee – Glenville State
  • Anthony Bilal – Lake Erie
  • Jacobbi Green – Richmond
  • Troymaine Pope – Jacksonville State

Fullbacks

  • Andrew Bonnet – North Dakota State
  • Nick Butler – Norhtern Arizona
  • Seth Fisher – Richmond
  • Will Rattelle – North Dakota
  • Ashton Broyld – West Georgia

Wide Receivers

Auburn WR Duke Williams could be in trouble
Auburn WR Duke Williams will likely fall but I would give him a chance
Duke Williams from Auburn is going to be a steal. If someone drafts him late they will get a sleeper, he may fall as an undrafted free agent, but whoever signs him will sign a stud

  • Max McCaffrey – Duke
  • Chris King – Duquesne
  • Alonzo Russell – Toledo
  • Jakeem Grant – Texas Tech
  • Casey Martin – Southern Mississippi
  • Ed Eagan – Northwestern State (LA)
  • Ellis Henderson – Montana (Junior)
  • Darrin Peterson – Liberty
  • Bryce Treggs – California
  • Nnamdi Agude – Sacramento State

Tight Ends

Sean Price of USF is the best secret in the NFL Draft. He was not utilized correctly and he has the potential to be a stud at the next level.

  • Adam Fuehne – Southern Illinois
  • Ryan O’Malley – Pennsylvania
  • Matt Weiser – Buffalo
  • Steven Scheu – Vanderbilt
  • Joe Sommers – Wisconsin – Osh Kosh
  • Kivon Cartwright – Colorado State
  • Jason Vanderlaan – Ferris State
  • Gabe Hughes – Florida Tech
  • Braxton Deaver – Duke
  • Ben Madon – Eastern Kentucky

Offensive Lineman

I believe that Anthony Fabiano of Harvard is drafted but if he is not drafted, I could see him as the hottest undrafted free agent out there.

  • Shaq Anthony – Tennessee State
  • Nick Richter – Richmond
  • Dominique Robertson – West Georgia
  • Garrett Clark – Southern Illinois
  • Aaron Neary – Eastern Washington
  • Isaiah Cage – Wisconsin Eau-Claire
  • Leonard Wester – Missouri Western
  • Clay Debord – Eastern Washington
  • Taylor Fallin – Memphis
  • Lawrence Walker – Minnesota State Mankato
