#Eagles wanted to trade for the number one pick; The Rams were bidding against them
The Tennessee Titans were destined to trade the first overall pick and they could afford to do it because last year they drafted their star quarterback in Marcus Mariota. Well now we are learning that the Philadelphia Eagles were the team that the Rams were competing against for the top spot.

The Eagles really want Carson Wentz and if the Rams happen to take Goff with the first pick like many feel they will, then the Eagles could make a trade to move up and draft Carson Wentz at number 2.
The Titans won either way, and if the Browns are not sold on Carson Wentz they have to trade down and acquire more picks don’t they?
