#Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr has accepted a pay cut to remain with the team
Today the Dallas Cowboys and Brandon Carr agreed on a more suitable contract for both parties. The Cowboys wanted to keep Carr, but they wanted him to take a paycut. Carr on the other hand did not have many options, if he wanted to remain a Cowboy, he would have needed to accept a pay cut. This was a win/win for both parties in my honest opinion.
Carr’s base salary dropped and is now expected to be under 6 million per season.
Cowboys CB Brandon Carr has accepted a paycut. Was scheduled to have a base $9.1M, cap number of $13.8M. Base now expected to be under $6M.
