#Broncos met with 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick at Elway’s home on Thursday
The Denver Broncos do not have a quarterback and it sounds like they are still very in on Colin Kaepernick. According to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick met with Broncos general manager John Elway at Elway’s house in the Denver area on Thursday.
The report says that Elway and Kaepernick have met at least twice since May 15th, 2016. Their most recent meeting came on the same day that Kaepernick’s $11.9 million base salary for the 2016 season became guaranteed.
I think this is going to come down to where Kaepernick wants to play. At this point, why wouldn’t you join the Super Bowl champs for less money?
