Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that the Minnesota Vikings have offered free agent G Mike Harris a two-year deal worth $3.5 million dollars. Harris said earlier this week that he would like to be back with the Vikings before the start of free agency.

“My agent is working really hard right now, and I’m hoping I can get a deal before Monday,” Harris said. “I see myself in Minnesota for the rest of my career. That’s where I want to be. So hopefully we get the contract ready this weekend. I’m excited. It’s going to be a great season for the Vikings, and I want to be a part of it.”

Harris played college football at UCLA. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2012
