Panthers are working hard to get a deal done with Mike Tolbert before Free Agency begins
The Carolina Panthers are reportedly working hard to get a deal done with former Coastal Carolina fullback Mike Tolbert. Tolbert was a huge asset to the Panthers offense last season and the team would like to bring him back.
According to Rand Getlin of NFL.com, the Panthers and Tolbert’s agent have been in discussions and will try to get a deal done before the start of Free Agency.
Tolbert has scored 18 touchdowns the past four seasons working primarily as a red-zone specialist.
I’m told the #Panthers and reps for Mike Tobert have been in discussions regarding a potential extension. May work up to the deadline.
