Today is the deadline for an NFL team to place a tag on a football player, so we wanted to start a Tag Tracker. 

Carolina Panthers

The #Panthers are slated to franchise tag CB Josh Norman later today, source said. Not a surprise. They’ll keep talking & try to do a deal.
New York Jets
NFL Media’s Kimberly Jones first reported that the Jets were planning to franchise the team’s best defensive lineman Muhammed Wilkerson, and they made it official later Monday, per Albert Breer.
Baltimore Ravens
Justin Tucker, one of the best kickers in the league was the first player to officially get tagged on Friday.
Chicago Bears
The Bears announced Monday that Jeffery got the tag, which is no surprise after general manager Ryan Pace indicated last week he wasn’t going anywhere.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos are expected to place the exclusive rights Franchise Tag on Von Miller keeping him with the team. The team is committed to making Miller a Bronco for  long time.
Miami Dolphins
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins have elected to use their transition tag on DE Olivier Vernon.
Buffalo Bills
Bills have placed the Franchise Tag on offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. The Bills would get two first round draft picks if he is signed to an offer sheet and the Bills fail to match.
Washington Redskins
Redskins assigned the non-exclusive franchise tag to QB Kirk Cousins.
Los Angeles Rams
Trumaine Johnson was slapped with the non exclusive Franchise Tag.

Kansas City Chiefs
Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs are planning to use their franchise tag on S Eric Berry before today’s deadline.
