NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Each year a friend and I collect donated toys and give them to the children at the Hopkins, Kennedy Krieger Hospital during The holidays.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

World Geography and Culture

Where are you from?

Baltimore, MD

Who is your role model, and why?

My brother because he works hard at being a good person everyday.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Baseball

Did you play any other positions in football?

I have been a fullback since the first day I put on pads.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I believe I have a high football IQ, I know the job of every player on the field and I win my one on one battles.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I usually look for who I’ll be matched up with on my assignments as well as the defensive fronts and how athletic and disciplined the interior 7 are.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

My own teammate, Robert Hayes. He was and still is an animal.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I believe Kyle Jusczcyk, because he does his job and is great on special teams.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I have had a couple of big obstacles to overcome in my life, but I think the key to every obstacle is having love and support from family and friends who’ll always be there for you.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I listen to the same playlist every game and get my ankles taped to the guitar solo of Free Bird.

What is your biggest strength?

I try to be the best at everything, no matter what it is, which motivates me to work hard.

What is your biggest weakness?

Time management. Sometimes I get focused on things and forget I need to make time for something else.

shepherdIf I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Every day a diamond in the rough slips through the cracks when all they need is to be given an opportunity, if you give me an opportunity I will give all of myself and you will not regret it.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Favorite player growing was Ray Lewis and team would be the Baltimore Ravens

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Jesus

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Beach house for mom and dad
