The Atlanta Falcons could have a new anchor on their offensive line. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Falcons are closing in on a deal with former Browns lineman Alex Mack.
Mack voided the last few years of his contract a couple days ago making him a free agent, and now the Falcons could be a team willing to pay him the most money.

Browns C Alex Mack is headed to the #Falcons, source said. The 5-year deal is being finalized. Alex Mack will average @$9.5m in Atlanta deal. Could have made 500k more on ave in Cleveland. Key to the Alex Mack deal with the #Falcons is the guarantee. Essentially, the first two years are fully guaranteed, with plenty in Year 3.
Per NFL league source, #Falcons deal for Alex Mack is for 5-yrs and around $45-million
