Colts will release back-up QB Josh Freeman

Dolphins have brought back former Kansas State quarterback Josh Freeman
Colts have released veteran quarterback Josh Freeman

Josh Freeman the back-up quarterback for Andrew Luck has been informed he will be released. Freeman and Charlie Whitehurst were still on the roster after the team released Matt Hasselbeck and now it seems the team will move on with just Whitehurst.

Freeman played college football at Kansas State, and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Freeman has also been a member of the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts, as well as the Brooklyn Bolts of the Fall Experimental Football League (FXFL).
