Report: Dolphins wide out Rishard Matthews will test the open market
The other day, the Miami Herald posted that the Miami Dolphins and wide out Rishard Matthews spoke about a contract, but it obviously did not go anywhere.
According to Rand Getlin of NFL.com, the former Nevada wide out will test the open market.

To be clear, the #Dolphins were interested in keeping Matthews as @AdamHBeasley said. Matthews wants to test market.
Matthews played college football for the Bakersfield College Renegades, and went on to the University of Nevada. He was drafted by the Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft. I would not be surprised to see the San Francisco 49ers be interested in Matthews, who emerged as a number 2 wide out this past season with the Dolphins.
Matthews finished with 662 yards on 61 receptions and scored 4 touchdowns this past season. The Dolphins will now need to rely on their young receiving corps.
