Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Volunteer in a mentoring program to give back to the children without father figures in their life.

Where are you from?

Grand Rapids Michigan 

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother. She has multiple sclerosis and it motivates me seeing her make it through everyday without ever complaining.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball and track

At your position, what separates you from others?

My size and ability to tackle. 

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

First I look and see what a teams strengths and weaknesses are. Then I go into specifics, like formation, splits, personnel, and adjustments  

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Le’Veon Bell

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Nobody because I have my own style of play and I play like myself. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The three months this past season when our coach left, got a new coach, team doctor died, teammate/brother died of cancer and our coach was diagnosed with cancer. I had to step up and become a better leader and get everyone to buy in as a family.

What is your biggest strength?

Tackling

What is your biggest weakness?

Not being able to forget about a mistake. Being to hard on myself

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Nobody will ever outwork me. I can promise you that.
