New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell may need to retire; Donnell still has not been cleared
Giants tight end Larry Donnell was considered one of the best undrafted free agent signings of 2012, after he emerged as a top tier tight end in 2014. Donnell the former Grambling State tight end could be in jeopardy of playing again, as we move forward.
The New York Post is reporting that there is growing concern that Donnell could be facing retirement as he still hasn’t been cleared to return.
Even Giants G.M. Jerry Reese stated that the situation is serious when he was asked at the NFL Scouting Combine.
“Hopefully he’ll be able to continue to play,’’ Reese said. “We’re expecting him to be back, but necks can be tricky. We’ll have to wait and see where that goes.”
