Jets sign CFL linebacker Freddie Bishop to a futures deal; Also sign kicker with big leg
The New York Jets were busy today. According to Adam Schefter the Jets signed Freddie Bishop who played in the CFL last season. Bishop is a good player and is now the tenth CFL player to land a contract with the NFL this year. Bishop visited 7 teams according to Schefter.
The Jets also signed former Notre Dame kicker Kyle Brindza. Remember Brindza was the kicker that was traded to the Buccaneers after signing an undrafted free agent deal with the Lions.
Jets and CFL standout LB Freddie Bishop — who visited 7 NFL teams — just reached agreement on two-year deal, per source.
