Brandon Browner is likely done in New Orleans

NFL teams cannot release players until after the Super Bowl, but one player who seems to be on his way out is Brandon Browner of the New Orleans Saints. Browner posted this message on his social media account this morning.

“I truly did love the city, really wanted to do well,” Browner wrote. “Some of the best people, best hospitality, and food. And a city that will show you a good time. How could you beat that?”

Browner signed a three-year, $15 million contract with $7.75 million guaranteed with the Saints last year but did not play well, leading the league in penalties.
