Colts are moving on from 40 year old QB Matt Hasselbeck
The Indianapolis Colts are moving on from free agent quarterback Matt Hasselbeck according to Mike Silver of Sports Illustrated.
The 40 year old back-up quarterback won the Colts several games this year but the team will now turn to former first round pick Josh Freeman and Charlie Whitehurst as the back up to Andrew Luck.
Hasselbeck would still like to play and he has proven he can still be a viable back-up. The Colts had a better record with him as the starter last year than they did with Luck as the starter.
