The Steelers released kick returner Jacoby Jones today and signed safety Ross Ventrone to the active roster.
Ventrone began the season on the 53-man roster before being released in October when Martavis Bryant was added to the roster after serving his suspension. He also spent a short stint on the Patriots earlier this year. Jones on the other hand was signed in November to be the return man, after the team released Dri Archer. Jones did not do good though and ended up losing his job after he fumbled against the Colts.
Jones has been inactive for the past three games.
