Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I’ve been volunteering at my local community Boys and Girls Club in Silsbee, TX since I was high school to this day.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

International Business Marketing

Where are you from?

Silsbee, Texas

Who is your role model, and why?

My younger brother Darrian Turk. He’s all about being great whether it’s in life sports or school and that nature of his motivated me to do the same.

Jarrian 1Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yeah basketball was actually my first love till high school

Did you play any other positions in football?

Yes..Running back (HS & College) Defensive Back (HS)

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m always aware of down & distances and if I touch the ball on any Play I’m at least thinking get the first always.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Weaknesses in Defenses or tips from secondary so I can be aware of coverage I’m about to get.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Earl Thomas of Seattle Seahawks at a summer workout we had.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Emmanuel Sanders or Devin Hester. Both of them have the ability to change momentum in a game at any time their numbers called and that’s something I have a Passion for.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

With the things I’ve endured and overcame I could write a book but main lesson I learned is how to enjoy a plate of crumbs as if it was full platter.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Yes I call my grandmother before every game talk to her for make sure everything is fine before I start gearing up.

What is your biggest strength?

My heart. Every time I step on field that’s something I’m going to bring it and feel like I have the most out there.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I want to be known as one of greats in this game. Can’t nobody tell I’m not going be that and gone hold me back from getting there. I’m not there now but I will be and would love to develop my game within your organization/franchise.

Randy Moss

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Muhammad Ali, Tupac, Jamaal Charles

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Buy my grandmother the Cadillac she always wanted.
