NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. We have tons of NFL staff that read our interviews, and we actually received several of the questions from NFL scouts we speak too. This gives them a little bit more information regarding your character. We hope to bring you more than 300 interviews of NFL Draft Prospects this season. Zachary but I go by Zac Schleuger

What is your Height/Weight?

6’2″ 230 lbs.

What is your position?

Middle Linebacker

Where do you play college football?

Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Help out at the Boys home in Sioux City after school and read to kids at the local Barnes and Noble in Sioux City

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Introduction to Abstract Mathematics

Where are you from?

Wesley, Iowa

Who is your role model, and why?

Dad, he has taught me how everyday it is important to work hard and always try to do the best that I can; and when things aren’t going exactly the way I planned, I should never give up; just keep working at it

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I wrestled from the age of 6 through my senior year in high school. Long jump, hurdles and various relays in track throughout junior high and high school.

Did you play any other positions in football?

In addition to linebacker, in high school I was running back and punter.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My speed and my ability to diagnose a play.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

What play offenses like to run on each down and distance. Where certain players line up on certain plays. Watch offensive lineman stances to see how they sit whether it is a run, pass, or if they are pulling.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Brandon Wegher

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Chad Greenway because of his ability to get to the ball and make the tackle, he’s like magnet and has great ability to read and anticipate the play of the offense

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Coming from a small high school, being unnoticed and having to prove my abilities. I set high goals, had to work hard and never let up.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I always start getting dressed at the same time and get dressed in the same order. Always have the same trainer tape my ankles (left first and right second) and the same person (Taylor James) spat my ankles and have the same player (Austin Allen) help put my jersey on.

Speed and ability to get to the ball and make the tackle.

What is your biggest weakness?

Being too hard on myself when I make a mistake

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Versatility (or versatile)

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Pittsburgh Steelers

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Abraham Lincoln, Jack Lambert, and Johnny Cash
