Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field

I’ve talked to a group of high school kids about staying motivated and not letting temptation lead you from your goals and from graduating from high school and going to college. it was more than the typical if I can do it you can do it too speech it was more about them finding their own reasons to graduate and sticking to it!

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Where are you from? 

San Jose, CA

Who is your role model, and why? 

My mom, she raised 5 children practically by herself and me being the youngest and seeing how successful my brothers and sisters are i could only imagine how she did it. shes impacted my life in ways explainable and i cant do anything but praise and be thankful for playing both roles in my life and guiding me to where I am today.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Track & Field, Basketball

Did you play any other positions in football? 

QB RB

At your position, what separates you from others? 

Speed & route running ability

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Tendencies at the line of scrimmage, footwork against the WR at the top of routes, & how active the corner is around the ball. (likes to tackle or not)

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

CJ Roberts

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Deandre Hopkins, route running, hands and his competitiveness each and every week, he brings it to his opponent.

Juquell11What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

Taking care of my mom when she had a brain tumor/stroke when I was just a sophomore in high school then soon after she got over the sickness my dad passed away on SR night. mentally keeping focus on schoolwork and the sports I participated in was a battle itself but staying positive and keeping faith that everything will work itself out was the only thing I could do to keep my head above water

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

Listening to Gucci Mane and/or Chief Keef to get my mind right, no specific song but Chief Keef on it on it was one of my favorite this past season.

What is your biggest strength? 

Route running

What is your biggest weakness? 

Strength

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

i love the game of football I’ve been playing since i was 7 years old and every game feels like I’m strapping em up for the first time. I’m a playmaker on the offense and both return games, over the course of my career I have not taken a lot of big hits, I’m durable, and wont let someone else out work me. I’m a great teammate/ person fun to be around and will bring my winning attitude to any locker room you put me in. I’m marketable as I’ve kept my hands clean and attitude is contagious and will be a great asset to any offense.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Randy Moss; Oakland Raiders

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Malcolm X, my Pops, Kobe Bryant

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Audi A8 matte military green
