Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Visiting elementary school kids and interacting with them 

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Definitely Accounting I, it was rough!

Where are you from? 

Born In Philadelphia, PA and later moved to Salisbury NC when I was younger

Who is your role model, and why? 

My mother, because of the values she instilled and the dedication, hard work and the care for my siblings and I. 

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Track, Tennis and Basketball 

Did you play any other positions in football? 

Defensive End

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My first step,  explosion and ability to read plays 

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Certain tendencies of the OL and  RBs. I’m looking how they are going to give away the play.  I’m studying their state when tired or weakness in the 4th quarter

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Kevin Parks, HS teammate played running back for Virginia 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Clay Matthews, because of his versatility the ability to play inside and outside LB

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?  

Sitting out a year of football then taking the JUCO route My strong faith, hard work and staying persistent helped me to overcome.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

Call mother and Pray before game 

What is your biggest strength? 

1 Step off the ball and work ethic 

What is your biggest weakness? 

Well, being undersized according to NFL standards, but it fuels motivation. 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I’m a versatile player that can play numerous positions on the field. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to prove myself on the field and I’m a class act off the field. You won’t have to worry about me in the offseason or during the season. 

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Sean Taylor and Washington Redskins 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Magic Johnson, Phil Knight and Nelson Mandela 

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A condo
